The Nagaon Police has arrested a Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) along with two others on charges of bribery from District Transport Office premises.
The MVI was identified as Hemen Das who allegedly was engaged in a lot of corruption-related activities.

Along with Das, two other employees, namely peon Pranav Mahanta and computer assistant Balwant Kaur were arrested for being a part of the “nexus”. Along with them, Das’s driver Pulak Roy was also arrested.
