A girl died on Wednesday after the e-rickshaw she was travelling in collided with a motorcycle in Dudhnoi.
The deceased was identified as Bhagawati Daimary. She was travelling with her mother to the market in an e-rickshaw when they were suddenly hit by a motorcycle.
Both the mother and daughter fell on the road and although the locals tried to save both of them, Bhagawati died on the spot while her mother Bonlata Daimary was taken to the hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the e-rickshaw said that they were hit by the motorcycle at an intersection.
When all of them fell on the road, the bikers saw them but they fled from the spot before anyone could intercept them.
Bonlata is currently in a severe condition and is undergoing treatment.
The police have been asked to initiate an investigation on the issue.
