Former Chief Minister and All India Trinamool Congress leader Mukul Sangma has alleged that the Congress in Meghalaya has betrayed the people of the state.

Sangma said that the decision taken by Congress in Meghalaya to partner with the government is a clear betrayal for the people of the state.

He added that Congress in Meghalaya is a complete “disarray and confusion”.

The former CM also claimed that if the Congress MLAs had the intention to serve the people of the state then they would all join the AITC.

As per reports, Sangma also stated that the Congress’s step to join the government which includes the NPP and the BJP is a clear sign that the Congress is desperate to remain in power.
