The Department of Food Engineering and Technology, Tezpur University, is going to organize a 5-day AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy sponsored Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Material Science and Engineering approaches for Food System Design from December 20 to December 24.

In order to guarantee food security, an intelligent approach is required particularly the (re)designing of production chains. Redesigning food and food systems is a responsibility and an opportunity for value social, economic, and environmental justice.

Eminent subject experts from Tezpur University, other educational institutions and industry from India and abroad, along with researchers from prestigious academic institutes, will deliver lectures on topics related to system approaches for food design such as recent advances in food engineering, electrical field technology, ultrasound technology, modern nutraceuticals, innovations in drying and quality assessment, and nanotechnology.

The FDP is open to all faculty members, research scholars, and PG students from various government or private engineering colleges/ institutions/ universities in food process engineering & related fields.

Interested participants are requested to register online for this FDP through the link https://atalacademy.aicte-india.org/signup.

There are a maximum of 200 seats, and the eligible participants will be selected based on a first-come, first-serve basis.
