The Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL), located at Lepetkata in Assam’s Dibrugarh district has donated Rs 1 crore to the chief minister’s relief fund.
A cheque of Rs 1 crore was handed over to Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma by top BCPL officials.
The cheque was handed over by Reep Hazarika, managing director of BCPL to Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Union minister Rameswar Teli was also present during the handing over of the cheque.

Other senior officials of BCPL who were present on the occasion were Ruli Das Sen and Swastik Mohanty.
Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised BCPL for the “noble endeavour”.
