A man in Tripura was allegedly lynched by an unruly mob for suspectedly practicing black magic.
The incident reportedly took place at Samrurpar area of Unokoti district in Tripura.
The man was lynched by a mob of over 200 villagers. The mob was later buried by the mob.
The mob of 200 tea garden workers allegedly dragged the man out of his house and thrashed him to death.

The victim has been identified as Bullu Orang. Orang died on the spot.
Interestingly, the villagers surrendered themselves before the police after committing the crime.
Meanwhile, the police excavated the body of the victim and sent it to the hospital for autopsy.
Notably, as per reports, the mob has threatened to launch an agitation if they are not arrested.

The victim’s family said that he practised non-medical treatment, which included ancient beliefs.
Wife of the victim said that her husband had been accused of performing witchcraft earlier also.
She demanded “capital punishment” for all the ‘culprits’ responsible for the death of her husband.
