Nagaland, on Wednesday, recorded two more COVID-19 deaths and 109 fresh positive cases.  

There were also 49 recoveries during the day. 

The Health and Family Welfare Department said that Dimapur registered 25 new cases, Kohima – 55, Mokokchung – 23, Mon – 1, Peren – 3 and Wokha – 2. 

Of the 49 recoveries, Dimapur reported 7, Kohima – 27, Longleng – 1, Mokokchung – 5, Mon – 4 and Phek – 5.

Meanwhile, the State Task Force Committee for Paediatric Management held a meeting in Kohima on Wednesday to review the State’s preparedness for the anticipated Covid-19 3rd wave.  

The meeting was attended by State Health and Family Welfare Department officials and paediatricians of private hospitals.
