Security forces, in a joint operation with police, apprehended a drug peddler with a huge amount of marijuana at Samzuiram in Peren district on Monday.
Based on specific input, the security forces, along with police, apprehended the drug peddler and recovered 6.6 kg dry marijuana worth about Rs 1.98 lakh and 13 kg of raw marijuana from his possession, a defence release said.
He was handed over to Jalukie police with the narcotics.
