Mizoram on Friday reported two more deaths, taking the death toll to 49, an official said.
A 69-year-old woman and 55-year-old Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan, both from Aizawl have succumbed to the infection at Zoram Medical College (ZMC), he said.
Both the victims were diagnosed with Covid-19 on 23 May and 5 May respectively, he said.
Mizoram registered daily death cases since May 30 and so far 14 people have succumbed to Covid-19 in 6 days.
The death rate has risen to 0.38 per cent.
The state on Friday reported 205 cases, pushing the tally to 13,064.
At least 94 people were discharged from various Covid-19 Care Centres on Friday.
Mizoram now has 3,319 active cases, while 9,696 people have recovered from the infection.
The recovery rate is 74.22 per cent.
The state has tested 4,03,676 samples for Covid-19 till date.
According to the state immunization officer, as many as 2,65,375 people have been administered the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine by Friday.
Of the 2,65,375 beneficiaries, 52,191 have been fully vaccinated, she said.
