Suspected Dimasa extremists gunned down a businessman at Diphu in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district on Saturday.
Police sources said Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) militants armed with AK-47 rifles and 9 mm pistols, shot businessman Debajit Sinha at his residence in Diphu.
Police have intensified operations to nab the culprits involved in the incident.
