Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has hailed the State Budget presented by Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday as people-welfare budget.
CM Sonowal said the budget reflects fulfillment of aspirations of all sections of the society – farmers, villagers, youths, senior citizens, women as well as children.
There is provision for Kanaklata Mahila Sabalikaran Yojana, Universalisation of Old Age Pension Scheme, Tejasvi Navadhitamastu Edu-Infra Funds, Chah Bagicha Dhan Puraskar Aru Jeevan Suraksha Yojana, Zero Interest on Crop Loans, Farmers’ Debt Relief and Financial Assistance for Farm Implements, Uttoron, Axom Adarxo Gram Yojana, State Level Mega Skill Development Scheme, Scholarship Scheme for girl children belonging to the minority communities, Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment Yojana, MSME Credit Guarantee Scheme, Deendayal Divyang Xahajya Achoni.
Sharing his budgetary reaction CM Sonowal said that true to its doctrine of Sabka Ssath Sabka Vikash, the Budget is aimed at development of all sections of people especially empowering debyangs, farmers, women and youth.
He congratulated the Finance Minister and his team for having prepared a budget which would open up new vistas for all.
