Top Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi will be in Assam and give a final push to the party’s campaigning in the State ahead of the Assembly elections.
Priyanka Gandhi will be in Assam on a two-day tour of the State for election campaigning.
Priyanka Gandhi will be in Assam on March 21 and 22.
The top Congress leader will be holding as many as six (6) rallies in Assam ahead of the first phase of elections in the State.
According to reports, Priyanka Gandhi will be holding rallies in Jorhat, Golaghat and Nagaon districts of Assam.
Priyanka Gandhi will also visit the birthplace of Srimanta Sankardev at Batadrawa in Nagaon district.
This will be the second visit of Priyanka Gandhi to Assam ahead of the polls.
Earlier, Priyanka Gandhi was in Assam on March 1 and 2.
Priyanka Gandhi’s earlier visit to Assam has been touted as a major success by many, as her aggressive campaigning in those two days, gave the much needed momentum to the Congress’ campaigning in the State.
With the first phase of Assam Assembly elections slated to be held on March 27, Congress is hoping to end its campaigning on a high for the first phase.
Congress is hoping for a final push from Priyanka Gandhi during her 2-day visit to the State ahead of the elections.
