The Arunachal Pradesh government on Monday launched a mobile application to facilitate online payment of electricity bills.
The mobile application called “Arunachal Power Pay” has materialized as a result of the power department’s efforts to digitize the process of revenue collection in the state.
Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu launched the application in Namsai in the presence of deputy chief minister Chowna Mein and local MLA Zingnu Chau.

Meanwhile, the chief minister took to Twitter to announce that he has paid his power bill by using Arunachal Power Pay on Monday.
“Paid my electricity bill today using the mobile app #ArunachalPowerPay. The app is an initiative by the power department towards the digitization of revenue collection. It was launched today in presence of Hon’ble DCM Shri @ChownaMeinBJPJi and Hon’ble Namsai MLA Shri @ZingnuChauJi,” Pema Khandu tweeted.
