The stage will be on fire on Saturday, as Mizoram boy Lalrinsanga Tlau will take on Ghanaian boxer Eric Quarm for World Boxing Council youth title.

Indian professional boxer Lalrinsanga Tlau from Mizoram will take on Ghana’s Eric Quarm for the vacant World Boxing Council Youth World Super Featherweight title on Saturday.

The much awaited bout will be held behind closed doors at Aizawl owing to COVID-19 pandemic.

Ghanaian boxer Eric Quarm arrived in Aizawl on Monday (March 1).

The bout will be the first-ever professional boxing event in Mizoram.

The fight will be held at the R Dengthuama Indoor Stadium in Aizawl.

Quarm has an overall record of five fights and four wins.

Mizo boxer Lalrinsanga Tlau holds a record of four wins and zero loses.

His victories also include two technical knockouts (TKO).
