A total of 14 legislators, including chief minister Zoramthanga and deputy chief minister Tawnluia, have been administered the first dose of COVID19 vaccine in Mizoram on Thursday.
Mizoram chief minister Zoramthanga while sharing the news of receiving the first dose of COVID19 vaccine on his Twitter handle said he took the vaccine at 10.25 AM on Thursday.
“Took my first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on 04.03.2021 at 10:25 AM,” chief minister Zoramthanga tweeted.

According to the state health department, a total of 28,350 people have been administered the first dose of COVID19 vaccine till Wednesday.
Mizoram reported no new COVID19 cases on Thursday.

Of the total 4,427 COVID19 cases, 4,400 people have already recovered from the infection.
The number of active cases in Meghalaya now stands at 17.
The state has so far reported 10 COVID19 fatalities.
