A Skill Development centre on Saturday was inaugurated by Dibrugarh University Vice Chancellor Alak Kumar Buragohain at DHSK Commerce College in Dibrugarh.

The centre which is a collaboration with Asomi foundation, a leading non-governmental organization opened in the Economics department of the college.

Asomi foundation and DHSK Commerce College signed a Memorandum of Understanding at DHSK commerce college for the Skill centre in presence of Dibrugarh University Vice Chancellor.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Professor Alak Kumar Buragohain said the students of the college should learn the skill development courses which are offered in the Skill centre. “Skill development courses are very important in today’s era and apart from education one have to learn skill development courses,”.

DHSK Commerce College Principal Khanindra Misra Bhagawati, Professor Jyoti Prasad Tamuli of Guwahati University, Professor Eeshankur Saikia, Subrajit Bharali were present at the occasion.
