Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Assam’s Dhekiajuli on February 7 to launch a slew of development schemes, a senior minister said on Tuesday.

To oversee preparations, held a meeting with #BJP Karyakartas at Biswanath Chariali, along with Min @ranjitduttabjp, MoS @Pijush_hazarika, MP @pallablochandas & MLAs,” finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma twitted on Saturday.

Minister Sarma said that Prime Minister Modi will address a huge rally at 12 pm in Dhekiajuli and will virtually inaugurate the construction works of Biswanath Chariali Medical College and Chairaideo Medical College.
The minister said that he will also formally launch the Asom Mala at the event.
Sarma on Tuesday discussed details of the programme with ministers Ranjit Dutta, Pijush Hazarika, MP Pallab Lochan Das and BJP workers at Biswanath Chariali.
