Coinciding with the ‘National Youth Day’ the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya on Tuesday celebrated the Swami Vivekananda Jayanti at its campus in Dibrugarh.
However, the school authorities went ahead with the celebrations sans a huge gathering on account of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
As part of the celebrations, the school had observed the ‘Samartha Bharat’ from December 26 to January 11 to awaken the spirit of national consciousness among the students.
Srishtidhar Dutta, former dean of the Rajiv Gandhi University in Arunachal Pradesh, was the chief guest on the occasion.

Teachers, students and staff members of the school paid floral tributes to Swami Vivekananda in different areas of the town.
Prizes were also distributed among winners of a singing competition that was held in the school last week.
