The Government has announced that it will hold a national-level ‘Gau Vigyan’ exam (examination on Cow Science) on February 25.
The announcement was made by Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog (RKA).
Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog is a government body set up for cow welfare.
The examination will be held at national level in online mode.
The exam will be objective type having 100 multiple choice questions.
There will be no fee for the examination and the duration of the exam will be 1 hour.
The examination has been named – ‘Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Prachar Prasar Examination’.
Announcing the first-ever exam such kind, RKA Chairman Vallabhbhai Kathiria informed that this exam will be held annually.

“We are starting ‘Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Prachar Prasar Examination’ at the national level from February 25. Cow is full of science that needs to be explored,” he said.
Besides English and Hindi, the exam will be held in 12 other regional languages.
The exam will be held in four categories –
Category 1: Primary level up to 8th standard,
Category 2: Secondary level from Class 9 to Class 12
Category 3: College level (12+)
Category 4: General public
“Questions will be set in such a way that during the online exam there will be no scope for any maneuvering. Results will be immediately declared on the website of RKA. Certificates will be given to all. Successful meritorious candidates will be given prizes and certificates afterwards,” the RKA stated.
