9 more test COVID-19 positive in Mizoram

9 more COVID-19 cases have been detected in Mizoram, taking the total number of positive cases detected in the State up to 4133.

Of the total 4133 COVID-19 cases reported in Mizoram so far, 153 are active cases.

Notably, of the total 4124 COVID-19 positive cases, 3041 are male and 1092 are female.

Of the 9 fresh COVID-19 cases 3 were detected through RT-PCR tests at the Zoram Medical College 1 through TrueNet test and another 5 through Rapid Antigen tests.

Fortunately, no more COVID-19 related death case has been reported from Mizoram.

The State’s COVID-19 death toll remains static at 7, with all being reported from Capital city of Aizawl.

In fact, Aizawl with 68 has the highest number of active cases in the State, followed by Lunglei (36), Lawngtlai (26), Kolasib (9), Serchhip (7), Champhai (4), Saitual (2) and Hnahthial (1).

Districts of Siaha, Mamit and Khawzawl at present have no active cases.
