10,323 terminated teachers in Tripura will launch an indefinite stir from Monday onwards.
The sacked teachers will stage an indefinite sit-in demonstration from Monday under the banner of Joint Movement Committee.
The teachers will stage their indefinite sit-in demonstration in front of City Centre, Agartala.
Notably, a total of 10,323 teachers were recruited by the then Left Front Government in Tripura in 2010.

Later, Supreme Court had terminated the teachers from their jobs citing faulty recruitment policy.
The BJP, however, during the Assembly elections in the State in 2018 had promised to recruit the terminated teachers again by the means of amendment in a law.
On Sunday evening, the terminated teachers organized a rally in Agartala city, serving an ultimatum to the State government to fulfil its poll promise.
The agitating teachers further warned the BJP-led State Government not to take their agitation casually.
