An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale jolted parts of Assam on Saturday evening.
The earthquake occurred at 8: 18 pm on Saturday.
The earthquake had its epicentre in Bongaigaon, Assam.
It occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres and the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) has marked this earthquake as ‘reviewed’ while confirming the coordinates 26.24N (latitude) and 90.51E (longitude).
Till the filing of this report, no damage was reported.
