Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor on Sunday revealed that he tested positive for COVID19.

Taking to Instagram, the actor said he is asymptomatic and is โ€œfeeling okโ€.

He is under โ€œhome quarantineโ€ as advised by the doctors and the authorities, said the actor.

โ€œIt is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for coronavirus. Iโ€™m feeling ok and Iโ€™m asymptomatic. I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors and authorities and will be under home quarantine,โ€ Kapoor said.

โ€œI thank you all in advance for your support and I will keep you all updated about my health in the days to come. These are extraordinary and unprecedented times and I have faith that all of humanity will overcome this virus,โ€ he added.

According to a media report, Arjun resumed shooting earlier this week for his yet-untitled romantic drama, which is also starring Rakul Preet Singh, Neena Gupta, John Abraham and Aditi Rao Hydari.

The actor informed about the shooting by posting a picture on Instagram from the set.

Arjun captioned the photo: โ€œHappy to just be back on set. Have to hand it to @emmayentertainment making filming possible again for our movie, it just felt seamless & organic because of all the effort behind the scenes. Grateful to be working again, slow & steady under the right guidelines.โ€
