COVID-19 cases in the police force continue to rise in Tripura as six more police personnel were infected by coronavirus.

As many as six police personnel from Dharmanagar police station tested COVID-19 positive triggering massive panic across the police station.

Reportedly five women police personnel from Dharmanagar Women Police station and one man from Dharmanagar police station tested COVID-19 positive.

All of them have been shifted to Panisagar COVID care centres.

As per the latest bulletin from the Health Department, 201 samples tested from the survey backlog and out of the 10 are positive.

Followed by  2228 samples tested in health facilities on entry points and out of the 128 is positive.

Another 1300 samples tested in RT PCR and 9 are positive.

As many as 147 turned positive out of 3729 samples tested on late Friday late night.

At present in Tripura, there are 6035 confirmed cases and 4085 got cured and 37 died.
