In response to these charges the embarrassed parliamentarian assured the media persons of providing official COVID-19 relief manuals and also urged the media persons to provide the list of bona-fide persons being deprived of due relief.

Earlier Saikia slammed the Congress party for organizing ‘Pratarana Divas’ across the State on Monday against the ruling BJP led State Government.

He charged the Congress of cheating the people of the country with countless corruptions while ruling for 55 years and hence has no moral right to observe such protests against the BJP led government which has shown tremendous prosperity in all its major sectors.

“At this time of crisis, the Congress leaders should have gone to pacify the COVID patients. Their duty was to help out the flood and erosion victim families. But they are observing the programme only to create misconception among the people, nothing else,” Saikia reiterated.
