Due to COVID19 pandemic, the movie was premiered on Amazon Prime Video.
His upcoming movies include Jhund, Brahmastra and Chehre.
A media report quoted doctors as saying that Bachchan, a “symptomatic” COVID19 patient, was in self-isolation at his home before being hospitalised on Saturday evening.
Nanavati Hospital is located in Mumbai’s Ville Parle, which is very close to the superstar’s residence in the Juhu area of the city.
Bachchan had survived a near-fatal accident on the sets of Manmohan Desai’s Coolie in 1982.
