Supreme Court of India is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Court Master (Shorthand) in 2026.

Qualification :
1. Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University in India.
2. Proficiency in Shorthand with a speed of 120 w.p.m. in Shorthand (English).
- 3. Knowledge of Computer operation with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m. on computer.
Experience :
- Minimum 5 years’ regular service in the cadre of Private Secretary/Senior PA/PA/Senior Stenographer in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/ Statutory bodies.
Age Limit :
As on 1st October, 2026, candidates should not be below 30 years of age. The upper age limit for candidates is 45 years
Pay : Level 11 of Pay Matrix i.e., Rs.67,700-Rs.2,08,700/-, with initial Basic Pay of Rs.67,700/- plus allowances, as admissible under the Rules.

Applicants must pay Non-refundable Application fee which for General/Unreserved category candidates is Rs.1,500/- and, for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer)/ex-Servicemen candidates, is Rs.750/-, plus Bank charges through online mode only
