Arunachal Pradesh has registered 6 new COVID19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s overall tally to 276.
In the latest COVID19 status report on Tuesday, the Arunachal Pradesh health department mentioned that out of the 6 new COVID19 cases detected in the state, 5 positive cases are from the Itanagar Capital Region while 1 positive case is from Namsai.
All are asymptomatic and the patients have been shifted to the Covid Care Centre (CCC).
Meanwhile, a total 13 other patients, who were earlier infected by the virus, have been discharged.
Of the discharged patients, 10 are from Changlang, 1 is from Leparada, 1 is from Namsai and 1 is from West Kameng district.
All the discharged patients have been advised to strictly follow 14-day home quarantine.
In Arunachal Pradesh, a total of 105 COVID19 patients have been discharged after they tested negative and the state currently has 169 active cases.
In Arunachal Pradesh, a total of two persons have died of COVID19 infection.
The total number of COVID19 positive cases in India has now increased to 7,19,665.
Of these, 2,59,557 are active cases while 4,39,948 patients have been cured/migrated/discharged and 20,160 people have succumbed to COVID19, according to the Union health ministry.
