One Army officer tested COVID-19 positive in Tripura.
This is the first such case in Tripura where any Army officer has been found COVID-19 positive.
Twenty-five more people were found positive on Thursday night.
Among them a Colonel of military station, Lichubagan of Agartala tested COVID-19 positive.
The health officials confirmed this on Friday.

This is for the first time, a military officer got infected by novel coronavirus raising alarm bells in the entire military establishment in the State.
Besides this seven people who were admitted to GBP Hospital for other reasons tested COVID-19 positive.
They are from flu clinic, medicine ward and children ward.
Meanwhile, one more person was found positive in central jail.
Till Friday, six people have been found positive in central jail.
Tripura registered all together 647 positive cases till Friday.
Among them 331 positive cases were registered from Monday to Thursday night.
In last 48 hours, the State registered 176 new cases.
