Arunachal Pradesh has registered one more COVID19 positive case, taking the state’s overall tally to 43.
According to the latest update on Arunachal Pradesh’s COVID19 status, the new positive case has been reported from Namsai district.
As per the Arunachal Pradesh health department’s COVID19 status data, a total of 467 samples were collected on Thursday, out of which 5 tested positive for COVID19.
So far 10,025 samples have been collected in Arunachal Pradesh for COVID19 tests, out of which 8,472 samples have tested negative while results of 1,427 samples are awaited.
There is no report of any death due to COVID19 infection in Arunachal Pradesh so far.
The state’s first COVID19 patient was discharged from the hospital after his recovery from the hospital.
Dr L. Jampa, state surveillance officer-IDSP, directorate of health services, in the state’s latest COVID19 status report issued at 10.34 pm on Thursday said: “Today, 5 new cases have been reported, taking the total cases in Arunachal Pradesh to 43, with 42 active cases and 1 recovered.”
Dr Jampa also said, “All were shifted to COVID care Center (CCC). They were all detected in Facility Quarantine Facility.”
He also informed that of the total 5 new cases reported on Thursday, 3 cases are from Changlang district and 1 each from West Siang and Namsai district.
India has so far registered a total of 225,046 COVID19 positive cases with 6,318 deaths.
While 107,991 persons have been discharged from various hospitals across the country after their recovery, there are currently 110,736 active cases.
Globally, COVID19 has affected a total of 213 countries with 66,30,076 confirmed cases.
The disease deadly has claimed the lives of 3,89,579 persons across the world.
