Arunachal Pradesh has registered 15 more COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 20.

Confirming the news, Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu in a tweet on Monday evening said all the infected patients were in quarantine facilities and they have been shifted to the Covid Care Centre.

With the new cases, the number of total active COVID19 cases registered in Arunachal Pradesh has risen to 19.

“Rise in Positive #Covid19, 15 more positive cases detected, all are in Quarantine facilities being shifted to Covid Care Centre. Total Positive Active as of now is 19,” chief minister Khandu tweeted at 5.32 pm on Monday.

In an earlier tweet at 4.18 pm on Monday, chief minister Khandu informed about the detection of one more COVID19 positive case in the state.

The state’s 5th positive case has already been shifted from the quarantine facility to the Covid Care Centre, Khandu informed.

Stating that this was an asymptomatic case, Khandu said the patient’s condition is normal.

“A new Positive asymptomatic case has been detected & shifted from Quarantine facility to Covid Care Centre, his condition is normal. The active positive now is 4,” Khandu said in his earlier tweet.

He also informed that a total of 8,282 samples have been collected for COVID19 tests so far, out of which 7,015 tested negative while the test reports of 1,262 samples are awaited.
