Tripura has registered 34 more COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 316.
Confirming the news, Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a tweet in the evening on Sunday said all of the infected patients came from Chennai.
In the morning on Sunday, chief minister Deb informed about the detection of 11 new COVID19 positive cases in Tripura.
On Sunday, Tripura has registered 45 new positive cases, the highest number of cases registered in Tripura in a single day.
With these new cases, Tripura has crossed the 300-mark of positive cases.

Tripura has so far registered a total of 316 COVID19 positive cases.
In his tweet in the evening on Sunday, chief minister Deb said a total of 633 samples were tested for COVID19 in Tripura on the day, out of which 34 tested positive.
“633 samples have been tested for COVID19 in Tripura today, out of which 34 people found POSITIVE. All of them have returned from Chennai,” chief minister Deb tweeted.
