Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Friday informed that the two COVID-19 positive cases have tested negative in two consecutive tests after 14 days of isolation.
“The two positive cases who are hospitalized at Civil Hospital, Shillong are tested negative in two consecutive tests done after 14 days of isolation,” Sangma tweeted.
“They are now categorized as recovered,” the tweet further added.

Meghalaya now has only one COVID-19 positive case and the state is set to become corona-free as the first test report of the 11th patient also came out negative.
The state government is now waiting for the second test report, which will be available by Saturday.
