Popular Hollywood couple Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson recently revealed that they have volunteered to donate their blood and plasma for coronavirus research as they had both recovered from the disease.
โA lot of the questions are what now? What do we do now? Is there something we can do? And, in fact, we just found out that we do carry the antibodies,โ Hanks told on NPRโs โWait Waitโฆ Donโt Tell Me!โ podcast via MSN.
โWe have not only been approached, we have said, โDo you want our blood? Can we give plasma?โ And, in fact, we will be giving it now to the places that hope to work on what I would like to call the โHank-ccineโ,โ the actor joked.

On March 11, Hanks and Wilson had revealed that they had tested positive for coronavirus.
The couple returned to Los Angeles after being treated at Australia.
They were in Australia for the pre-production of BazLuhrmannโs untitled Elvis Presley film from Warner Bros, when they contracted the disease.
Hanks is all set to play the character of Elvisโ manager, Colonel Tom Parker in the film.
The two-time Oscar Award winner is widely regarded as an American cultural icon.
