During COVID-19 lockdown, an educational initiative has been undertaken by Army Public School, Likabali in Dhemaji district of Assam.
“This initiative is bringing education to the doorstep of the local students in the form of e-School program,” said Tezpur base Defence spokesperson Lt Col Harsh Wardhan Pande.
“The e-School program commenced with the new academic year in the month of April,” he informed.
“The school has created visual classrooms and assigned mentor teachers to impart lessons to the students,” he added.
“The study material and teaching instructions are shared online in real-time. An e-Help Desk has also been created to educate the parents on technical issues,” he further said
The e-School programme is a unique concept and first of its kind in this area.
It is proving to be an effective mode of imparting education to the locals during the times of COVID-19 lockdown.
