Air India on Saturday announced that it has opened bookings for select domestic flights from May 4 and for internationals flights from June 1.
“In the light of the ongoing global health concerns, we have currently stopped accepting bookings on all domestic flights for travel till May 3, 2020, and on all international flights for travel till May 31, 2020,” a notification on Air India’s website said on Saturday.

“Bookings for select domestic flights for travel from May 4, 2020, and for international flights for travel from June 1, 2020, onwards are open,” it stated.
Air India further said that the situation is being constantly reviewed and the customers shall be updated regularly.
On April 3, Air India had said it has stopped bookings, both domestic and international, till the end of the month.
During the period of lockdown, Air India has been transporting essential medical supplies to other countries.
Moreover, the flights of the national carrier have also been used for transporting essential commodities in various places across the country.
All domestic and international commercial passenger flights have been suspended till 11:59 p.m. of May 3, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had earlier said.
The civil aviation regulator decided to suspend flights after Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced the extension of the nationwide lockdown till May 3.
The DGCA had earlier stopped operations of passenger flights on all domestic routes from March 25 to March 31 and then extended it to April 14.
