Search engine giant Google on Thursday appreciated India’s food service workers with a doodle for their dedicated service to the people amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

The food service workers are a part of the frontline staff who has been serving regular meals to the patients and staff at various hospitals across the country.

Moreover, the food service workers have now been busy working around the clock preparing meals for various people who have been kept in quarantine at various quarantine facilities across the country.

The doodle has been designed to make the letter ‘e’ of the word Google look like a chef cooking food while managing packages for deliveries simultaneously.

When one hovers the cursor over the doodle, it shows the message- ‘To all food service workers, thank you’.

Clicking on the doddle brings out the search query-‘Thank you coronavirus helpers’

This particular doodle is part of a series that Google launched last week to express gratitude to first responders and emergency workers at the frontlines of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

“As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people are coming together to help one another now more than ever,” he Google doodle page said.

“We’re launching a Doodle series to recognize and honour many of those on the front lines. Today, we’d like to say: To all packaging, shipping and delivery workers, thank you,” it added.

It also features steps on how one can prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The steps include staying at home, keeping a safe distance, washing hands often, covering while coughing and calling helplines when sick.
