At a time when the entire country is under lockdown over COVID-19 threat, two youth have arrived in Assam from Tamil Nadu on Sunday – that two on a motorbike.
The two youth hailing from Golaghat district have arrived at their native village Naojaan in the district riding a motorbike all the way from Tamil Nadu amid the nation-wide lockdown.
However, immediately after arriving, both the youth went to a doctor for a medical check-up to confirm if they have contaminated the dreaded coronavirus.

They have been advised home quarantine for 14 days though they bore no visible sign of coronavirus.
Notably, several youth from Assam and other states of the Northeast have arrived at their home towns with the outbreak of coronavirus threat.
Many had to face several hardships on the way and even after reaching Guwahati.
Public transport went off the road while the NF Railway had suspended all train services in the region following the 21 days national lockdown.
