Manipur’s ace boxer Mary Kom has qualified for Tokyo 2020 after entering the semi-finals of the Asian qualifiers on Monday.
Mary Kom is an Olympic bronze medallist at the 2012 London Games.
Six-time world champion Mary Kom qualified in the 51kg with a comfortable win over Philippines’ Irish Magno at Amman in Jordan on Monday.
Second-seeded Mary Kom won the qualifier bout 5-0.

The 37-year-old will take on China’s Yuan Chang in the semi-finals.
The Tokyo Games will be Mary Kom’s second Olympic appearance after missing out on qualification berth for 2016 Rio Games following a second-round loss in the 2016 World Championships.
Meanwhile, Lovlina Borgohain of Assam has already qualified in the 69 kg.
