Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal hailed the efforts of farmers of Sonapur Revenue circle for promoting organic farming in the area by dint of their sheer devotion and diligence.
Haricharan Das, Niran Chandra Das and Phanidhar Pathak- the three progressive farmers met Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in Guwahati on Wednesday.
The trio narrated their success stories in the field of organic farming to the CM.
Sonowal lauded the efforts of the farmers in promoting organic farming in Sonapur area.
“The efforts in practising organic farming will be a source of inspiration to others,” Sonowal said.
The three farmers- who hail from Hahara, Bogibari and Dhopguri villages of Sonapur- gifted the CM some organic vegetables they brought along with them.
