A BJP MLA from Uttar Pradesh recently launched a verbal attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for voicing against implementation of National Register of Citizens (NRC) in the state.

MLA Surendra Singh said Banerjee should try becoming the Prime Minister of Bangladesh if she wants to keep Bangladeshis in West Bengal, say reports.

It may be mentioned that Banerjee on Thursday led a rally in north Kolkata in protest against the updated NRC published in Assam on August 31, 2019 with exclusion of over 19 lakh people.

Banerjee said she will not let NRC be implemented in West Bengal till she is alive, say reports.

Questioning Banerjee’s allegiance to the nation, Singh said if she had the wish of keeping Bangladeshis in West Bengal and doing politics then she should also possess the courage to try to become Bangladesh PM.

Singh further added NRC will be implemented in West Bengal and those, who do not qualify as Indian citizens, will be sent to their homes respectfully with two packets of food.

Singh also outlined BJP’s electoral performance in West Bengal in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Referring to the Hindu scripture Ramayana, Singh said UP CM Yogi Adityanath and BJP chief Amit Shah managed to win a number of seats in West Bengal in the similar way as Lord Hanuman entered Sri Lanka.

He claimed Banerjee is the political queen (Lankini) of West Bengal who is trying to oppose the implementation of NRC in the State.

Singh further said Ram has made a debut in West Bengal and there will be a change in government soon.
