All India Congress Committee (AICC) president has appointed former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Nabam Tuki as the new president of Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC).
On the other hand, MLA Lombo Tayeng has been appointed by the AICC president as the new leader of the Congress Legislature Party of Arunachal Pradesh State Assembly.
Nabam Tuki, who is the MLA of Sagalee Assembly constituency, will replace Takam Sanjoy.
Lombo Tayeng, who is the MLA of Mebo Assembly constituency, will replace Takam Pario as the CLP leader of Arunachal Pradesh.
A press release issued by AICC general secretary K.C. Vebugopal said: “Hon’ble Congress President has appointed Shri Nabam Tuki as the PCC President, Arunachal Pradesh and Shri Lombo Tayeng, MLA as the Leader of Congress Legislature Party in Arunachal Pradesh Assembly. The party appreciates the contribution of outgoing PCC President Shri Takam Sanjoy and CLP Leader Shri Takam Pario.”

Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Pradyot Kishore Manikya Deb Barman has expressed his gladness at the appointment of Nabam Tuki as the new state president of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) of Arunachal Pradesh.
TPCC president Deb Barman on his Twitter handle on Thursday stated: “Am truly glad that Nabam Tuki has been appointed as the new PCC president of Arunachal Pradesh. He has always been there to offer a sound advice to me since my youth congress days.”
