Tezpur Medical College Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Research Assistant and Multi-Tasking Staff in the project titled “Establishment of Population Based Stroke Registry and Clinical Stroke Care Pathway using Mobile Stroke Unit.” The Tezpur Medical College & Hospital located at Tumuki, Bihaguri, adjacent to the AH-15. It is a college for 100 admissions as per norms of the Medical Council of India. It has 22 departments including Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-chemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Micro-Biology, Community Medicine and Forensic Medicine, The clinical departments shall be Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, T.B. & Chest, Radiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Anesthesiology. In due course of time the College will develop as a Post Graduate Medical College in different specialties. Tezpur also known as Sonitpur and Harupeswar remained as important city throughout ages of history.
