Bodoland University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of eight vacant posts or career under project Biotech Kisan Hub.
Name of post : Project Associate I
No. of posts : 2
Qualification & Experience :
For Post 1 :
a. Master’s degree in Natural Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent.
b. Minimum of three years of experience in mushroom cultivation training, spawn production,
mushroom value addition and mushroom related activities in Government funded projects/organisation
For Post 2 :
a. Master’s degree in Natural Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent/ MBA or equivalent from recognized University
b. Minimum of three years of business development/ experience in Bio entrepreneurship
development, founder or cofounder of a start up company, having experience in cluster
formation, business modelling and Strategy development. Strong understanding of business
administration and commerce principles. Proven experience in mushroom entrepreneurship,
including cultivation, processing, packaging, and marketing. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. Strong analytical
and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of packaging materials and techniques. Ability to work
independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel for field training and support activities

Name of post : Project Assistant
No. of posts : 1
Qualification & Experience :
B.Sc /3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology. Minimum of one year experience in mushroom cultivation training, spawn production and mushroom related activities in Government funded projects/organisation
Name of post : Biotech Kisan Fellow
No. of posts : 5
Qualification & Experience :
a) Applicant must be in farming practise of Mushroom/ Equivalent for at least five years
b) Must have certificate from any recognized agency of the farming practise of five years
c) There is no hard and fast eligibility of educational qualification for farmers (preferably with
HSLC)
d) Preference shall be given to women fellows
Age Limit :
Age must be minimum of 18 years and should not exceed 40 years on 20.05.2024 for Project Associate-1 and Project Assistant with other criteria’s as per GoI norms.
However, there is no such age limitations for Biotech Kisan Fellows (Preferably minimum of 18 years and should not cross 65 years)
