IDF Spokesman Rear Adm Daniel Hagari confirmed that targeted and precise strikes were carried out on military targets in Iran.
He said that the airstrikes were in retaliation for Iran’s ballistic missile assault on October 1, which Israel considered an immediate threat to its national security.
Hagari further warned Iran against further escalation.
He stated, “If the regime in Iran makes the mistake of beginning a new round of escalation, we will be obligated to respond.”
