Nagaland tourism minister Temjen Imna Along who often shares humorous and witty pictures, breathtaking landscapes on his social media handles also gives snippets of motivational photos and videos
He recently shared a motivational video on how going slowly and steadily can help us win a race in life in reality too
The video shows a tortoise and a rabbit made to race side by side on two separate racing tracks allotted to each of them
The tortoise, as seen in the video, went on marching towards its destination slowly and steadily without minding the noise made by the audience
However, the rabbit which started late from the starting point marched fast to the middle of the racing track but later stopped midway and started watching the audience interestingly
It can be later seen that the tortoise which was calmly marching towards its goal ultimately reached the finish line
Sharing the video on X (formerly Twitter), Along wrote, “Slowly and Gradually, Tortoise won the Race! Just Focus On Your Goal.”
Most of the netizens agreed with the age old saying that ‘slow and steady wins the race’ holds relevant even in the present time and they have enjoyed seeing the story they had heard as children become true practically today
According to a popular moral children story, the race was done between a hare and a tortoise
The hare who went much ahead of the tortoise in the race dropped his focus for a short period and enjoyed himself for a while overconfidently thinking his competitor to be a weak one but it was too late and his rival became the winner
