She claims that it occurs in varying degrees in individuals depending on chronological ageing, oxidative stress, antioxidant intake, genetics, diet and lifestyle changes

Here are the tips she had suggested for healthy hair and stopping it from premature greying-

Take sufficient antoxidants in natural form as in vegetable and fruit juices and in the synthetic form by taking supplements

Increase your protein intake as it gives hair a natural shine and good texture

Take care of your scalp and include dark green vegetables, oranges, yellow fruits and vegetables in your diet and also consume food rich in minerals like zinc, iron and copper

Avoid food items that are loaded with artificial colours and preservatives as it only cause fast premature greying of hair but puts a strain on digestive system too

Try to add some natural nourishing hair masks for your haircare routine and stay away from commercially processed hair dyes

Use gentle haircare products on your hair that are devoid of harsh chemicals like sodium lauryl sulfate

Massage your hair with your fingertips as it helps in proper blood circulation in the scalp

Exercise regularly as it is not only good for the body but also for the hair too as it promotes blood circulation to hair follicles
