Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who went on an adventurous journey to Ladakh recently posted some new pictures of him interacting with the people there
Sharing some pictures on his social media handles, Gandhi also shared of getting inspired after meeting the people of Ladakh
“On our frontiers stand the brave children of Bharat Mata - ready to take on any challenge for her sake,” he wrote in a post on Instagram
“A look into their eyes, a heartfelt conversation, or a glimpse into their lives is enough to leave you inspired for a lifetime,” he added
Gandhi also revealed about the problems that the people of Ladakh are currently facing in their lives
“ I went to every corner of Ladakh and talked to the youth, mothers and sisters and poor people. There are other leaders who only speak their mind, I want to listen to your mind,” Gandhi wrote in a post on X
“China has seized thousands of kilometers of India. The land has been taken away. The Prime Minister is lying by denying this, every person of Ladakh knows this,” he added
According to Gandhi, the main issues of Ladakh are - the political voice of the people here is being suppressed, all the promises of the government for employment turned out to be false and lack of mobile network and air facility
He also promised to raise the issues of Ladakh in the next session of Parliament and thanked the people of Ladakh for giving him a grand welcome and showering him with love
