Congress leader Rahul Gandhi introduced a newest and cutest member of his family on his social media handles on the occasion of World Animal Day
This new family member is a puppy called Noorie and she has been brought by Gandhi from Goa to Delhi as a gift for his mother Sonia Gandhi
Gandhi, who shared how Noorie became a part of their lives and their lovely bonding with the puppy in a short video on Instagram, revealed how it has become a source of joy for them
“Animals teach us the meaning of unconditional love! For the few months she’s been with us, little Noorie has lit up our lives,” wrote Gandhi in a caption
Moreover, Gandhi also shared a 3 minute long video on YouTube of how he brought Noorie from a family in Goa
Sharing the video, Gandhi wrote, “I'd like you all to meet the newest and the cutest member of our family - our li'l pup, Noorie. She flew in from Goa straight into our arms, and has become the light of our lives.”
“Unconditional love and uncompromising loyalty - there is so much this beautiful animal can teach us! We must pledge to protect and share our love with all living beings. #WorldAnimalDay,” he added
The video begins with Gandhi’s visit to Goa-based dog breeders Sharvani Pitre and husband Stanley Braganca and meeting Noorie there
It also shows the Congress leader flying back to Delhi, taking a metro ride and finally surprising his mother with the puppy
The video also shows Sonia Gandhi playing with Noorie and the latter adjusting at her new home and bonding with their other dog
