Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked people to celebrate India’s entrepreneurial spirit with the power of digital media

Modi, in a post on X, urged people to support ‘Vocal For Local’campaign this Diwali by buying products which have been made locally and then posting a selfie with the product or the maker on the NaMo App

“This Diwali, let us celebrate India’s entrepreneurial and creative spirit with #VocalForLocal threads on NaMo app. https://narendramodi.in/vocal4local,” wrote Modi

“Buy products which have been made locally and then post a selfie with the product or the maker on the NaMo App. Invite your friends and family to join your thread and spread the spirit of positivity,” he added

“Let us use the power of digital media to support local talent, encourage the creativity of fellow Indians and keep our traditions thriving,” he added

PM Modi had also recently posted an ad featuring Anupama Ganguly , Anuj Kapadia and other actors of popular TV serial Anupama endorsing the Vocal for Local campaign

The video shows the actors promoting local goods and services and urging the people to give local brands a chance instead of always going big and after branded products

Sharing the video, Modi wrote, “The #VocalForLocal movement is getting great momentum across the country”

A thrilled Ganguly took to Instagram to express gratitude towards PM Modi for reposting her ad

“The #VocalForLocal movement is getting great momentum across the country. For me this is the proudest moment. Humbled, Overwhelmed and extremely Grateful to be associated with a cause that is dear to our honorable Prime Minister,” she wrote in a post
